Songs cannot be transferred outside of Spotify. Spotify allows songs to be downloaded for offline listening within the app only in paid plans. There is also the Duo plan for $12.99 (two users) and the Family Plan for $15.99 which allows up to 6 accounts with Spotify Kids. This includes offline mode, no ads and on-demand playback. The first paid tier is the Individual Plan which costs $9.99 per month and is fully featured. The free version allows access to the entire Spotify library but you can only play music in shuffle, skip up to six times per hour, and there is no offline mode. Spotify Lite is a great alternative when the connection is weak, or the phone plan is not expandable. It's still possible to listen to favourite tracks, random tracks and create playlists. The application now only takes up 10 MB of space, instead of the 27 MB required by the standard version. Some features have been removed to save storage space on the phone, in order to avoid overloading the internal memory.
The interface of Spotify Lite has been simplified compared to the standard version, but remains intuitive.
